Kuniko Expands High-Grade Gold and Silver Discovery in NSW
Kuniko Limited (ASX: KNI) has delivered encouraging drilling results from its Commonwealth–Silica Hill Project in New South Wales, confirming the presence of high-grade gold, silver and base metal mineralisation across several target zones. The Phase 1 drilling campaign successfully extended known mineralisation and identified new exploration potential within the broader project corridor.
One of the strongest results came from the Commonwealth South area, where drilling intersected significant high-grade gold and silver mineralisation alongside zinc and lead values. The company also reported a new mineralised zone at Silica Hill located outside the current resource footprint, highlighting further upside potential for the project.
All completed drill holes intersected sulphide mineralisation, supporting confidence in the continuity and scale of the mineral system. Kuniko plans to commence a Phase 2 drilling program in early July, focusing on larger step-out targets, deeper high-grade zones and additional discoveries aimed at expanding the overall resource potential of the project.
