LGI Strengthens Growth Outlook with AU$51.2 million Placement and AU$5 million SPP Launch

LGI Limited (ASX: LGI) has successfully completed an AU$51.2 million institutional placement at AU$3.85 per share, following strong demand from both new and existing investors. The company has also launched an AU$5 million Share Purchase Plan (SPP) for eligible shareholders at the same price, allowing broader participation.

Proceeds will accelerate delivery of High Conviction Projects in Execution, including expansions at Mugga Lane, Belrose, and Nowra, while funding the next wave of power station and grid-scale battery developments. The capital will also strengthen LGI’s balance sheet, providing additional flexibility for new growth opportunities while maintaining prudent leverage. Upon completion, LGI expects to hold approximately AU$48 million in undrawn bank capacity, reinforcing its financial resilience. Chair Vik Bansal highlighted investor confidence in LGI’s clean energy strategy, and CEO Jarryd Doran noted the funding will fast-track renewable electricity and battery storage growth across Australia.
