Lightning Minerals Launches Drilling at Mt Turner Gold-Silver Project

Lightning Minerals Limited (ASX: L1M) announced that at the time of writing it has commenced a diamond drilling program at its Mt Turner Project in Queensland, following the recent 100% acquisition of Lotus Minerals. The campaign will cover 1,300 metres across multiple high-priority gold and silver targets along the Drummer Fault.

Geo Drill Australia has been contracted to undertake the program, bringing significant technical expertise. Historical drilling has already highlighted strong near-surface mineralisation, with results including 12m at 6.5 g/t gold and 7m at 1.7 g/t gold with 67 g/t silver.

The Mt Turner Project sits within a 14 km fault structure where previous shallow pits were mined in the 1990s. Soil and rock chip sampling will accompany drilling to define further targets. Lightning Minerals expects this initial campaign to unlock significant exploration upside across its tenements.
