Lynas Rare Earths Announces CEO Transition After Transformational Tenure
Lynas Rare Earths Ltd (ASX: LYC) has confirmed that Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Amanda Lacaze will step down after completing 12 years in the role, bringing to a close a period of significant change and development for the company. The Board has initiated a structured succession process to identify the next CEO, with the search extending across both internal leadership and external candidates. To ensure continuity and an orderly handover, Ms Lacaze will remain with Lynas until the end of the current financial year.
During her tenure, Ms Lacaze led Lynas from a challenging early-stage position to becoming an ASX50-listed company and a strategically important supplier in global rare earths supply chains. Under her leadership, Lynas expanded its operational footprint, strengthened its balance sheet, completed the Lynas 2025 capital investment program, and launched its Towards 2030 growth strategy. The Board acknowledged her significant contribution, highlighting the company’s substantial increase in scale and market value, which now provides a strong platform for future growth
