Marquee Confirms High-Grade Heavy Mineral Results at Adriano, Supporting District-Scale Potential
Marquee Resources Limited (ASX: MRQ) has reported strong heavy mineral assay results from its auger drilling program at the Adriano Project, reinforcing the potential for a district-scale mineral system across the Adriano-Fotinho corridor. Results from the fifth alluvial target area confirm consistent high-grade Total Heavy Mineral (THM) mineralization, with five of nine holes returning grades above 3% THM across the full depth. The highest result recorded was 4.56% THM over 3.95 metres, with peak individual sample grades reaching 6.14% THM. Across all five targets, results demonstrate widespread mineralization, including earlier drilling where grades exceeded 6% THM, with individual samples up to 9.56% THM. The mineralization occurs at surface, indicating potential for a low-cost development pathway. Further laboratory analysis is pending to confirm valuable components, including rare earth-bearing monazite and other heavy minerals, representing a key near-term catalyst.
