Native Mineral Resources Secures Exclusive Mining Rights at Podosky Gold Deposit
Native Mineral Resources Holdings Limited (ASX: NMR) has entered into a binding agreement with Haoma Mining NL to obtain exclusive mining rights for the Podosky gold deposit in northern Queensland for a 12-month period. Under the arrangement, the company will undertake mining activities at the site and transport ore to its Blackjack Operations, located approximately 75 kilometres away, for processing.
The agreement requires a total payment of AU$4 million to Haoma, to be made in three instalments between March and May 2026. Recent drilling results at Podosky have confirmed shallow, high-grade gold mineralisation, reinforcing the deposit’s potential suitability for open-pit mining.
Phase 1 drilling at the project has been completed, while geological modelling, pit optimisation and mine design are currently underway. Blasting and mining activities are targeted to commence in April 2026 as the company progresses development across its Charters Towers and Podosky assets.
