Olympio Expands Critical Minerals Portfolio with US Silver and Antimony Projects
Olympio Metals (ASX: OLY) has increased its US exploration footprint through the addition of the Raven Silver and Sawtooth Antimony projects, strengthening its pipeline of critical mineral assets. The projects are prospective for silver, antimony and copper, with the Raven Project hosting historically high-grade mines. Historical records show average production grades of 2,084 g/t silver and 19.51% copper at the Raven Mine, while the Silver King Mine averaged 996 g/t silver. Importantly, neither project has undergone modern exploration or drilling, presenting significant discovery potential. Their inclusion also aligns with growing US demand for strategic minerals such as silver and antimony.
The Raven Project comprises 27 mineral claims and benefits from proximity to an operational silver-antimony processing facility, supporting future development opportunities. The Sawtooth Project includes three historical silver-antimony prospects across 80 mineral claims, where previous mineral occurrences have been identified but remain largely untested using modern exploration techniques. Olympio plans to begin field reconnaissance, geological mapping and sampling, initially focusing on the Raven and Silver King mines to generate high-priority drill targets and unlock the projects' exploration potential.
