Orion Minerals expands capital raising to AU$7.7 million after strong investor backing.

Orion Minerals Limited (ASX: ORN) has announced an increase in its capital raising to approximately AU$7.7 million (ZAR89 million) after securing additional support from sophisticated and professional investors. This follows the company’s earlier plan, disclosed on 30 September 2025, to raise around AU$5 million (ZAR57 million) through a placement of fully paid ordinary shares.

The placement was conducted at an issue price of 1.5 cents per share (ZAR17 cents) and included participation from Orion’s Chairman, Denis Waddell. With the expanded commitments, Orion will now issue approximately 515 million new shares under the placement structure. The additional funding highlights the strong confidence investors have in Orion’s strategy and growth prospects.

An Appendix 3B filing regarding the issuance of shares will be lodged shortly, providing formal details of the proposed allocation. This strengthened capital position enhances Orion’s ability to pursue its ongoing projects and development initiatives.
