Perpetual Advances Raptor Drilling to Unlock Brazils Rare Earth Potential

Perpetual Resources Limited (ASX: PEC) is preparing to launch the next drilling phase at its Raptor Rare Earth Element (REE) Project in Brazil, aiming to test depth extensions at the Portão Verde, Pina Colada, and Pinheirinho prospects . Previous shallow auger drilling encountered high-grade mineralisation that remained open at depth, with notable intercepts such as 5m @ 5,591 ppm TREO and 12m @ 4,601 ppm TREO . The upcoming program will use air-core drilling to depths of 30–40 metres, supporting a maiden JORC resource estimate. Located in the Caldeira Alkaline Complex, near major REE players like MEI and VMM, Raptor benefits from proximity to key infrastructure and government-backed peers. Metallurgical test work from ANSTO confirmed up to 94% recovery for magnet REEs (Nd, Pr, Tb, Dy), positioning Perpetual as a competitive player in the global critical minerals supply chain.
