Rapid Critical Metals to Acquire Webbs Consol Silver Project

Rapid Critical Metals Limited (ASX: RCM) has entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Lode Resources Limited (ASX: LDR) to acquire full ownership of the Webbs Consol Silver Project, located in northeastern New South Wales. The project, comprising EL 8933 and EL 9454, is regarded as one of Australia’s highest-grade silver assets and will materially strengthen Rapid’s resource base.

The agreed consideration includes AU$3 million payable at completion, an additional AU$750,000 twelve months post-completion, and the issue of 115 million new Rapid shares to Lode, subject to a 12-month voluntary escrow. Lode will also retain a 2.0% net smelter return royalty, which Rapid can repurchase for AU$2 million. Managing Director Byron Miles highlighted that the acquisition delivers both scale and grade, positioning Rapid to build on Lode’s work and expand its silver resource through further drilling. Completion remains subject to shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting.
