Riversgold Advances Exploration at Saint John Project
Riversgold Limited (ASX: RGL) has begun a fresh round of exploration at its Saint John multi-metal project in New Brunswick, Canada, alongside its earn-in partner, A.I.S Resources Limited.The program includes a high-resolution airborne magnetic survey spanning 2,125 line kilometres, aimed at identifying detailed magnetic anomalies and refining future drill targets.
As per the current farm-out arrangement, A.I.S Resources has the opportunity to secure up to a 75% interest in the project by committing CA$4.4 million over a four-year period, while Riversgold will maintain a 25% carried stake through to the point of a mining decision.
The 101 square kilometre project is considered prospective for IOCG-style mineralisation, providing exposure to gold, copper, silver, antimony, and other critical minerals. Previous rock chip samples have delivered encouraging high-grade results, supporting the project’s exploration potential.
The survey outcomes are expected to guide the next stages of exploration, including ground-based work and planned drilling activities in 2026.
