Solvar Limited– Resilient Earnings Growth and Strengthened Capital Position in H1 FY26
Solvar Limited (ASX: SVR) delivered a solid H1 FY26 result, demonstrating earnings resilience and disciplined capital management. Normalised Net Profit After Tax increased 5.8% to AU$20.0 million, while statutory NPAT rose 5.8% to AU$17.8 million. Earnings per share advanced 13.5% to 9.3 cents, reflecting improved capital efficiency and active balance sheet optimisation. The Australian loan book expanded 1.7% to AU$846.6 million, supported by disciplined origination and growth in commercial lending. Bad debt expense declined by AU$6.2 million following the sale of the New Zealand written-off loan book for NZ$9.4 million, simplifying the Group’s exit from that market.
Funding capacity was materially enhanced through new and repriced warehouse facilities, increasing total funding limits to approximately AU$1.1 billion and providing over AU$500.0 million in headroom. The Board declared fully franked dividends totalling 11.0 cents per share for the half, reinforcing its commitment to shareholder returns while reiterating FY26 normalised NPAT guidance of AU$36.0 million.
