Unico Silver Expands La Negra with High-Grade Drill Hit of 90m at 144g/t AgEq.

Unico Silver Limited (ASX: USL) has reported a major exploration breakthrough at its Joaquin Project in Santa Cruz, Argentina, with drill hole JDD017-25 intersecting 90 metres at 144g/t silver equivalent (AgEq) from just 10 metres depth. This exceptional result confirms a significant southeastern extension at the La Negra prospect, well beyond the limits of the 2013 Foreign Estimate, and supports the company’s goal of defining a robust, pit-constrained, free-milling silver resource under its PLUS 150 strategy.

The mineralisation, still open at depth and to the south, has now been confirmed along more than 2km of strike, with JDD017-25 drilled just 25m west and down-dip from historical hole RD0037. With drilling at Joaquin completed in June, assay results from a further 29 holes (4,374m) are pending. Managing Director Todd Williams noted the results validate the team’s geological model and significantly enhance the upside potential ahead of a JORC resource update due in Q3 2025.
