Vection Technologies Secures AU$0.5 Million Defence Extension Order, Expanding into New Department.

Vection Technologies Ltd (ASX: VR1) has secured an AU$0.5 million extension order from an existing Defence customer, marking a significant milestone as it penetrates a new department within the same client organisation. This follows the successful and timely delivery of a previous AU$4.4 million contract. The new order reflects growing Defence spending across multiple departments and reinforces Vection's role as a trusted provider of AI and XR-powered spatial computing solutions.

The Defence customer holds an approved AU$27 million budget to be allocated over the next three years, from which Vection expects to secure further work. The current contract is expected to be fully delivered in July 2025, with associated revenue to be recognised in FY26. This expansion not only highlights Vection’s capability in mission-critical defence applications but also establishes a foundation for broader multi-department collaborations under its INTEGRATEDXR platform. The announcement has been deemed material under the Company’s disclosure threshold.
