WAM Active Limited Secures AU$70.7 Million in Oversubscribed Capital Raise.

WAM Active Limited (ASX: WAA) has successfully raised AU$70.7 million through an oversubscribed entitlement offer, top-up facility, shortfall offer, and placement. The funds raised will enhance the company’s liquidity, market presence, and support its investment approach, which focuses on identifying mispricing opportunities in the Australian equity market. 

The capital raise consists of AU$20.5 million from the entitlement offer, AU$5.4 million from the top-up facility, and AU$44.8 million from the shortfall offer and placement. This additional capital will help increase research and broker coverage while maintaining WAM Active’s focus on delivering steady returns with low volatility. A 1.0 cent per share fully franked dividend has also been announced for shareholders.
