Western Yilgarn Secures AU$698 thousand to Advance Bauxite-Gallium Projects.

Western Yilgarn Limited (ASX: WYX) has successfully raised AU$698,000 through a placement of 17.45 million shares at AU$0.04 each, with investors also receiving one free attaching option for every two shares subscribed. The funds will support ongoing exploration, metallurgical testwork, and project development across the Company’s key assets, including the Julimar West, Cardea 2 and 3, and New Norcia Bauxite-Gallium Projects.

The Julimar West Project hosts a substantial Inferred Resource of 168.3Mt at 36.1% Al₂O₃, while the Cardea 2 and Cardea 3 Projects collectively hold 36.67Mt under JORC (2012) estimates. Additionally, the New Norcia Project has a 39.27Mt Inferred Resource grading 22.7% Al₂O₃. Combined, the Company’s portfolio stands at 205Mt at 34.1% Al₂O₃ and 23.7% total silica. Proceeds will also be used for scoping studies, land access negotiations, and general working capital, positioning Western Yilgarn to progress its expanding bauxite-gallium resource base.
