ASX/200 Closed higher by 0.49%; Lifted by Energy

By the end of the trading session on 02 December 2024, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 ended higher by 0.49% and settled at 7,627.80. Out of 11 sectors, 10 sectors closed higher along with the ASX 200.



Energy and Financial sectors were the top-gaining sectors, gaining 1.50% and 0.67% respectively in their index values. A-REIT sectors were the top-losing sectors, losing 0.69% respectively in their index values.



Core Lithium Limited (ASX: CXO) and Boss Energy Ltd (ASX: BOE) were the top gainers, with 8.000% and 5.707% growth in share prices, respectively. Bapcor Limited (ASX: BAP) and Genesis Mineral Limited (ASX: GMD) were the top losers, with 2.889% and 2.794% drop in share prices, respectively.
