FleetPartners Enters Takeover Agreement with SG Fleet

FleetPartners Group Limited announced on 19 October 2026 that it had signed a binding Scheme Implementation Deed with SG Fleet Management Pty Limited, which is owned and controlled by funds managed and advised by Pacific Equity Partners. Under the agreement, SG Fleet will acquire all FleetPartners shares through a scheme of arrangement for AU$5.30 per share in cash. The offer implies an equity value of approximately AU$1.131 billion and represents an 87.3% premium to the closing share price of AU$2.83 on 31 July 2026, before SG Fleet’s initial approach. FleetPartners’ board unanimously recommended that shareholders support the transaction, subject to the absence of a superior proposal and a favourable independent expert conclusion. The deal remains conditional on shareholder and court approval, regulatory clearances and other requirements. A scheme booklet is expected in December 2026, with a shareholder meeting anticipated in February 2027 and implementation targeted for March 2027.

Ingenia Communities Reports Performance Rights Lapse

Ingenia Communities Group announced on 19 October 2026 that 252,167 performance rights had ceased on 14 October 2026 because the conditions attached to the rights had not been met or could no longer be satisfied. The company disclosed the change in an Appendix 3H notification to the Australian Securities Exchange. The securities were unquoted performance rights listed under code INAAB, and the filing stated that no consideration was payable for their cessation. The announcement did not specify the performance conditions involved or explain why they were not satisfied.

Benz Mining Reports Broad Gold Intersections

Benz Mining Corp. released exploration results on 19 October 2026 from 68 reverse circulation drill holes covering 25,776 metres at the Icon gold camp, part of its Glenburgh Gold Project in Western Australia. Results included 46 metres at 6.5 grams per tonne of gold and 42 metres at 3.0 grams per tonne. The company said systematic drilling had outlined a mineralised zone 100–200 metres wide across the first kilometre of the known three-kilometre trend, with mineralisation identified to depths exceeding 500 metres. Benz is continuing exploration at Icon and other Glenburgh targets, while advancing technical studies. A maiden Mineral Resource Estimate is targeted for the first quarter of 2027.

Conclusion

The announcements reflect distinct developments across fleet management, property and gold exploration. The takeover agreement remains subject to approvals, Ingenia’s filing records the lapse of conditional rights, and Benz’s results require further drilling and assessment before the project’s resource potential can be fully established.
