Discovery Alaska Limited (ASX: DAF) has entered a binding agreement to acquire 100% of the Cuddingwarra Gold Project near Cue in Western Australia’s Murchison district. The project comprises eight prospecting licence applications covering 13.86 square kilometres and sits close to Westgold Resources’ Cue operations, major gold projects and regional processing infrastructure.The acquisition is supported by a $900,000 placement, with funds earmarked for exploration, the project purchase, transaction costs and working capital. The placement involves 100 million shares at AU$0.009 each. Cuddingwarra remains largely untested below surface, with future activities expected to include geochemical sampling, air-core drilling and follow-up RC drilling.
