TALi Digital Expands Technology Strategy with Datasphere Deal

TALi Digital Limited (ASX: TD1) is advancing its technology strategy through a proposed acquisition of Datasphere Analytics. The transaction would give TALi a potential route to in-memory computing intellectual property developed at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. TALi plans to acquire the entire business by issuing 22 million shares valued at AU$0.05 each, subject to required approvals and other conditions.
The technology could complement TALi’s plans to transform its You Can Do It! programs into a more comprehensive AI-supported education platform, with an emphasis on secure processing of sensitive data. However, the technology remains at an early stage and has not yet been commercially validated.
Alongside the acquisition, TALi is seeking approximately AU$3.3 million through a AU$2.8 million placement and an SPP of up to AU$500,000. Proceeds are expected to support Datasphere-related funding, technology development, commercialisation activities, existing products, staffing requirements and working capital.
