Yandal Resources Secures Strong Investor Support

Yandal Resources Ltd (ASX: YRL) outlined a AU$10 million capital raising plan on 30 October 2026, comprising an AU$9 million institutional placement and a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) targeting AU$1 million. The capital will support further exploration work and help Yandal Resources advance its gold projects across Western Australia.

The placement received firm commitments for 120 million new fully paid ordinary shares at AU$0.075 each, before costs. This price represents an 8.5% discount to the last traded price of AU$0.082 on 27 October 2026. The company also highlighted support from existing shareholders, institutions and professional investors. Gold Fields is expected to hold a 19.9% interest in Yandal following the placement.

Placement Structure and Shareholder Participation

The placement will take place in two stages. The first involves issuing approximately 94.2 million shares to raise AU$7.1 million under the company's existing placement capacity. The remaining 25.8 million shares, valued at AU$1.9 million, will be issued only after shareholders approve the proposal at a meeting planned for December 2026. The second stage includes AU$500,000 in director participation, also subject to shareholder approval.

The company will also give eligible shareholders based in Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to take part in the SPP, which is not underwritten. Applications can range from AU$2,000 to AU$30,000 per eligible shareholder, at the same price of AU$0.075 per share. The offer is scheduled to open on 6 November and close on 27 November 2026.

Where the Funds Will Be Directed

Yandal Resources plans to use the proceeds for aircore, reverse circulation and diamond drilling at Arrakis. Other priorities include regional soil, gravity and aircore programs to identify new exploration targets.

The company also intends to undertake selected drilling at Flushing Meadows, the New England Granite/Siona discovery and Mt McClure. Part of the funding will cover working capital and capital raising expenses.

What Investors Can Watch Next

The SPP results and the December shareholder meeting will be important upcoming milestones. Investors can also follow the company's drilling programs and exploration progress as Yandal works to identify further gold resources across its Western Australian projects.
