Anax Metals Secures AU$10 Million to Strengthen Balance Sheet and Advance Whim Creek
Anax Metals Limited (ASX: ANX) has secured commitments to raise approximately AU$10 million through a two-tranche placement involving institutional and sophisticated investors. The company will issue around 434.8 million new shares at AU$0.023 each, reinforcing its capital structure ahead of key development milestones.
The funding will be directed toward repaying an existing AU$3.5 million loan, supporting project development activities, progressing debt and offtake discussions, and funding exploration and working capital needs. Following repayment, the company will avoid granting a net smelter royalty on its Whim Creek project interest.
Strong participation from existing shareholders, institutional investors, and company directors reflects growing confidence in the company’s development pathway. The strengthened financial position is expected to support ongoing financing discussions and potential final investment decisions for the Whim Creek Copper Project.
