MyEco Group Expands Partnership with Penrith City Council Through New FOGO Agreement
MyEco Group Limited (ASX: MCO) has been awarded a new contract by Penrith City Council to provide compostable liners and related distribution services for its Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) recycling initiative. The agreement strengthens an existing relationship between the two parties that has continued for nearly a decade.
The contract has an estimated value of approximately AU$6.8 million over a potential five-year period, beginning with an initial three-year term and extension options subject to performance and mutual agreement. The company expects the arrangement to generate around AU$1.36 million in annual revenue.
Penrith City Council selected MyEco Group after a competitive tender process, recognising the company’s capabilities in product quality, environmental compliance, and supply chain management. The agreement also places MyEco in a stronger position to benefit from the growing rollout of mandatory FOGO recycling programs across New South Wales as new environmental regulations continue to take effect.
