Aurum Resources Limited (ASX: AUE) has secured firm commitments to raise AU$28.8 million through a placement of 48 million shares priced at AU$0.60 each, with strong participation from institutional and existing investors. The raise is anchored by a cornerstone investment from Perseus Mining Limited, which will hold a 9.9% stake upon completion. Following the placement, Aurum’s cash position is expected to exceed AU$60 million, providing funding to advance its dual-project growth strategy in Côte d’Ivoire. The company plans to allocate capital toward an extensive 130,000-metre drilling program across the Boundiali and Napié projects, alongside progressing feasibility studies and expanding its drilling fleet.
