EMU Confirms Large-Scale Copper-Silver System at Fiery Creek
EMU NL (ASX: EMU) has reported encouraging results from its Stage 1 drilling program at the Fiery Creek project, confirming the presence of a sizeable copper-silver mineralised system and refining targets for further exploration. The drilling campaign has validated the company’s geological interpretation, identifying mineralisation hosted within steeply dipping shear zones, along with additional intrusive-related structures. Multiple mineralised zones appear to branch from a central feeder system, indicating a potentially extensive and complex mineral network. Key drill results include 13 metres at 0.5% copper and 9.7g/t silver, alongside narrower high-grade intervals such as 1 metre at 1.29% copper and 26.9g/t silver. Other intercepts across the program continue to demonstrate consistent copper and silver mineralisation across multiple drill holes. Importantly, the mineralised system remains open both along strike and at depth, suggesting further upside potential. Updated geological interpretation now points toward a multi-phase intrusive system linked to porphyry-style mineralisation, rather than a simpler vein-based structure. These findings have strengthened confidence in the broader project area and will guide the next phase of exploration, including planned drilling at the Yataga Valley targets in 2026.
