BCM Advances Ema Project with Successful In-Situ Recovery Field Trials.

Brazilian Critical Minerals Limited (ASX: BCM) has achieved a major milestone in its Ema rare earth project through successful field trials of in-situ recovery (ISR). The company confirmed the migration of magnesium sulphate (MgSO₄) across multiple field trial zones, with pH levels in extraction wells dropping below 4.0—enabling rare earth elements (REEs) to leach effectively. Solution movement exceeded expectations, indicating strong clay permeability and minimal loss due to impermeable basement rock.

Initial breakthrough in monitoring wells occurred in as little as three hours, validating fluid mobility essential for ISR. The consistency between lab and field results underpins the project’s technical robustness and supports future hydrogeological modelling for the bankable feasibility study. With an indicated and inferred MRE of 943Mt at 68% MREO recovery, Ema ranks among the world’s top ionic clay REE deposits. These results mark a significant de-risking event and reinforce the project's long-term economic potential.
