Eden Innovations Strengthens Defence Strategy with EdenShield® Launch and Capital Raise
Eden Innovations Ltd (ASX: EDE) has launched EdenShield®, a dedicated division aimed at commercialising its advanced carbon nanotube (CNT)-based technologies across defence, military, and critical infrastructure sectors. The division will focus on solutions such as EdenCrete® for ultra-high-performance concrete with enhanced blast resistance and durability, CNT-based plastics, and advanced shielding materials to protect against electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the OptiBlend® dual-fuel system improves backup power efficiency by extending operational duration and reducing fuel costs, supporting applications in data centres, hospitals, and military facilities.
To support this expansion, the company has raised approximately AU$4.05 million through an institution-led placement at AU$0.18 per share, led by L1 Capital. The proceeds will be used to accelerate EdenShield® growth, advance product commercialisation, and strengthen working capital.
With increasing global focus on infrastructure resilience and defence capabilities, Eden aims to position its technology portfolio as a scalable solution in a rapidly expanding market.
