BlinkLab Reports Positive ADHD Study Results to Expand AI Diagnostic Platform
BlinkLab Limited (ASX: BB1) has reported positive results from its European ADHD case-control study, marking an important milestone in expanding its smartphone-based diagnostic platform beyond autism. The study, involving one of the largest reported case-control datasets for ADHD assessment tools, achieved 82% sensitivity and 83% specificity in identifying ADHD among children aged 6 to 17 years. The findings support the development of BlinkLab Dx2, an artificial intelligence model designed to detect ADHD using smartphone-derived digital neurobehavioural biomarkers, including subtle reflexes and facial responses. The multicentre study was completed in collaboration with Mental Care Group in Europe at no cost to the Company, highlighting BlinkLab's capital-efficient research model. Building on these results, BlinkLab plans to commence preparations for a U.S. pilot study and subsequent FDA registrational programme, while also evaluating future opportunities in Europe and broader applications for monitoring ADHD symptoms and treatment response.
