Codan Posts Record FY26 Growth as Profit Jumps 69%

Codan Limited (ASX: CDA) delivered a strong FY26 result, supported by robust performance across its Communications and Metal Detection businesses. Revenue increased 30% year-on-year to AU$875.0 million, while EBIT surged 67% to AU$244.1 million. NPAT climbed 69% to AU$175.2 million, with the NPAT margin improving to 20.0% from 15.3% in FY25.

Communications revenue rose 22% to AU$506.2 million, supported by strong defence demand, while segment profit increased 45% to AU$156.0 million. Metal Detection also delivered impressive growth, with revenue jumping 42% to AU$362.0 million and segment profit advancing 65% to AU$162.4 million, driven by healthy global demand for gold detectors.

Codan also declared a fully franked final dividend of AU$0.29 per share, highlighting stronger profitability and improved shareholder returns.
