BPH Global Secures AU$1.1 Million to Accelerate Indonesian Seaweed Operations and R&D Initiatives.

BPH Global Ltd (ASX: BP8) has successfully raised AU$1.1 million through a private placement, securing strong support from institutional, professional, and sophisticated investors. The capital raise, priced at AU$0.002 per share with free attaching options, will be issued in two tranches—one under existing capacity and the second subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming November AGM. The funds will be allocated towards strengthening the Company’s seaweed operations in Indonesia (AU$700,000), advancing R&D projects (AU$200,000), supporting working capital needs, and covering offer costs.

The investment will accelerate BP8’s Indonesian operations, including its Makassar warehouse, cultivation pilots, farmer engagement, and long-term offtake partnerships. Additionally, R&D initiatives will focus on rare earth elements recovery, functional seaweed-based beverages, and bioremediation solutions. Managing Director Matthew Leonard highlighted that this raise enhances the balance sheet and positions BP8 to capture growth opportunities in the sustainable seaweed sector while expanding its innovative product pipeline.
