Burley Minerals Secures Drilling Approvals for Cane Bore Iron Project

Burley Minerals Limited (ASX: BUR) has received drilling approvals for its maiden drill program at the 100%-owned Cane Bore Iron Project in Western Australia's Pilbara Province. The program, targeting the Cane Bore South Target, includes 34 RC drill holes across a 2.3 km strike to assess the grade and depth of the Channel Iron Deposit. Drilling is set to begin in April 2025.

A heritage survey conducted by Pinikurra Traditional Owners alongside Echoes Cultural Heritage consultants has been completed to ensure the preservation of cultural sites. The Programme of Work, reflecting the project's Conservation Management Plan, has been approved by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety. Burley is mobilizing drill equipment and planning additional heritage surveys for further drill targets. With excellent infrastructure access and proximity to major transport routes, Cane Bore is positioned as a promising iron ore exploration asset in a globally renowned mining district.
