GoldArc Raises AU$7.2 Million to Accelerate Leonora Gold Exploration
GoldArc Resources Limited (ASX: GA8) has secured firm commitments to raise up to AU$7.2 million through a placement aimed at expanding exploration activities across its Leonora North and Leonora South gold projects in Western Australia. The capital raising attracted support from institutional investors, high-net-worth investors, and strategic partner BML Ventures. Funds will primarily support aggressive drilling campaigns targeting resource growth and new discoveries along the largely underexplored Ursus Fault corridor. GoldArc highlighted that only around 3km of the 12km strike has been drill tested to date, despite already hosting a combined 152,000-ounce resource at Mt Stirling and Stirling Well. The company plans to undertake RC drilling programs at Mt Stirling, Yttria, Chert, and Cosmopolitan prospects, alongside extensive soil sampling programs. Management believes the exploration campaign could significantly enhance resource potential while progressing development pathways toward future production and cash flow generation.
