BWP Delivers Stable HY2026 Performance Following Management Internalisation

BWP Trust (ASX: BWP) reported its half-year results for the six months ended 31 December 2025, marking the first reporting period following the internalisation of management and formation of the stapled BWP Group structure. The transition eliminated external management fees and introduced a streamlined corporate framework designed to enhance capital efficiency and long-term alignment with securityholders.

During the period, BWP continued executing its portfolio optimisation strategy, focusing on asset recycling, repurposing opportunities and occupancy enhancement. Like-for-like rental growth remained positive, supported by fixed and CPI-linked lease reviews, while the weighted average lease expiry extended meaningfully following multiple lease resets.

The Group also completed the acquisition of HomeCentre Morayfield in Queensland for AU$ 48.0 million and incurred targeted capital expenditure across repositioning initiatives. With a diversified funding base and strengthened balance sheet, BWP remains positioned to support portfolio renewal and disciplined growth initiatives.
