Catalina Confirms Priority Gold Targets for Central Yilgarn Exploration

Catalina Resources Ltd (ASX: CTN) has confirmed several high-priority gold targets across its Central Yilgarn Project in Western Australia following an independent technical review by Apex Geoscience. The study identified key prospects for follow-up, including Viper, Leghorn, Chicken Little, T1B, and Snowflake, where previous drilling delivered strong intersections such as 15m at 1.5 g/t Au at Viper and 17m at 4.1 g/t Au with 28 g/t Ag at Chicken Little.

Catalina will now launch an integrated exploration program combining soil sampling, air-core, and reverse-circulation drilling, focusing on untested zones and open mineralisation along strike and depth. A 10,000m drilling campaign will begin following heritage clearances, supported by systematic sampling at Viper SE, T1E, and T8. With more than 650 km² of consolidated tenure across the Yerilgee and Evanston greenstone belts, Catalina is executing a district-scale exploration strategy in one of Western Australia’s most promising emerging gold regions.
