Clara Resources Secures Strategic Entry into the Hodgkinson Basin Through Gold Project Acquisition
Clara Resources Australia Limited (ASX: C7A) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire one hundred percent of the Hodgkinson Basin Gold Project in Far North Queensland, securing a large-scale position within a historically productive gold province. The acquisition covers three granted exploration permits totalling approximately two hundred and sixty five square kilometres and encompassing more than thirteen kilometres of a major regional shear zone. The project benefits from extensive historical exploration, including over one hundred and thirty drill holes, yet remains largely underexplored at depth and along strike. Clara will issue five hundred and thirty three million three hundred and thirty three thousand three hundred and thirty three shares, alongside staged cash consideration totalling Australian dollars one million two hundred and fifty thousand, subject to shareholder approval. A two-phase exploration program is planned for two thousand and twenty six, targeting rapid advancement toward a maiden JORC Mineral Resource estimate while testing substantial upside potential across the broader tenement package.
