Drilling Commences at Eburnea Gold Project, Cote d'Ivoire

Santa Fe Minerals Limited (ASX: SFM) has initiated a drilling program at the Satama prospect at its Eburnea Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire.The project comprises the fully granted and 100 per cent-owned Satama exploration permit (PR544), together with a 65 per cent interest in the Bouake North exploration permit application (PRA575).

The current campaign comprises 33 drill holes for approximately 7,700 metres, including 10 diamond drill holes and 23 Reverse Circulation holes. The program is designed to test gold lodes along a 2-kilometre strike extent at Satama. Historical drilling at the project recorded significant intercepts, such as 26 metres grading 4.82 grams per tonne gold and 30 metres at 1.92 grams per tonne gold.These results underscore the prospectivity of the system and provide a strong basis for the expanded drilling program.
