Fredon Secures Major Data Centre Contracts Worth AU$150 million
Fredon, a wholly owned subsidiary of NRW Holdings Limited (ASX: NWH), has been awarded four significant data centre contracts across Australia, strengthening its position as a key services provider in this rapidly growing sector. The contracts—collectively valued at approximately AU$150 million—span electrical and mechanical works in Victoria, Brisbane, and New South Wales. These include expanded electrical and mechanical packages at two major Victorian data centres, an extended electrical works program in Brisbane, and an early contractor involvement (ECI) order for designing mechanical and electrical systems at a NSW facility. According to Fredon CEO Scott Olsen, the wins reinforce the company’s reputation and technical breadth. NRW’s CEO Jules Pemberton highlighted that these awards reflect the strategic benefits of acquiring Fredon and enhance the group’s diversification. Fredon also maintains a strong tender pipeline exceeding AU$1.5 billion.
