Golden Mile Resources (ASX: G88) has successfully completed its maiden drilling program at the Pearl Copper Project in Arizona, marking a key milestone in its U.S. exploration efforts. Ten RC holes totaling 1,186m were drilled across the Odyssey and Ford Prospects, with visible copper mineralisation—primarily malachite, azurite, and chrysocolla—intersected in seven of the holes. This is the first drill campaign at these historic sites since mining ceased in 1942.
Five holes at Odyssey and two at Ford revealed encouraging mineralisation, including structures below previous mining depths. The results follow previously reported high-grade surface samples with copper up to 15.2% and silver up to 930 g/t. Assay results are now pending, with follow-up programs in planning. Situated in a Tier 1 jurisdiction and the prolific Laramide Porphyry Copper Province, the Pearl Project offers significant potential for copper resource development.
