High-Grade Rock Chip Results Reinforce Renaldinho as a Priority Lithium Discovery in Brazil
Perpetual Resources (ASX: PEC) has strengthened its emerging lithium discovery at the Renaldinho Project in Brazil’s Lithium Valley, following the receipt of multiple high-grade lithium rock chip assays. Results include standout grades of up to 7.08% Li₂O at Renaldinho and 3.04% Li₂O at Morro Grande within the broader Igrejinha Project, confirming the presence of a highly evolved lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite system. Elevated caesium, tantalum and tin values further support the fertility and scale potential of the system. Sampling was undertaken within mapped pegmatites exposed by extensive artisanal workings, where spodumene and amblygonite have been identified, highlighting strong exploration upside both along strike and at depth. With limited historical drilling across the project area, ongoing soil, channel and rock chip sampling programs are expanding the geological model and refining targets. Renaldinho is now advancing as a key drill candidate within Perpetual’s Brazilian portfolio ahead of planned drilling programs.
