The Calmer Co. Secures FJ$548,000 Government Grant to Expand RTD Production
The Calmer Co. International Limited (ASX: CCO) has been awarded a non-repayable capital grant of FJ$548,214 (approximately AU$354,000) through its wholly owned Fiji subsidiary, South Pacific Elixirs Pte Ltd, under the Fiji Government’s Commercial Agriculture Development Programme.
The funding will support expansion of ready-to-drink (RTD) bottling capacity and infrastructure upgrades at the company’s Navua facility. Planned initiatives include installation of additional processing equipment, electrical capacity enhancements, and acquisition of a dedicated farm-gate sourcing and cold-chain vehicle to strengthen supply chain efficiency.
Importantly, the grant is non-dilutive and does not require repayment, allowing CCO to accelerate operational scale-up without impacting shareholder equity. The investment is expected to enhance production capability and support growing demand for kava-based RTD products.
