IGO Limited: Strong Nova Performance with Revised Greenbushes Outlook
IGO Limited (ASX: IGO) delivered a solid March 2026 quarter, supported by strong operational performance at Nova and improved group financials. Revenue rose 45% on higher nickel volumes and prices, while underlying EBITDA increased to AU$119 million. Free cash flow stood at AU$36 million, with net cash strengthening to AU$327 million, reflecting robust cash generation.
Nova remained the key driver, achieving higher production, lower costs, and strong free cash flow despite nearing end-of-mine life. In contrast, Greenbushes faced operational challenges, including lower grades, recoveries, and maintenance disruptions, although strong lithium pricing supported a 75% EBITDA margin.
Guidance for Greenbushes was revised downward, with production reduced to 1,375–1,425 thousand tonnes. Kwinana and Nova guidance remain unchanged.
Additionally, Dean Jenkins was appointed as Non-Executive Director, strengthening governance. Overall, IGO continues to focus on operational improvements, cost discipline, and long-term value creation.
