Lincoln Minerals Secures $3.1 Million to Accelerate Minbrie Copper Exploration
Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX: LML) has secured firm commitments to raise AU$3.1 million through a two-tranche placement to strategic investor Prosperity Success Holdings Limited. The capital raising includes an initial unconditional placement of AU$1 million, followed by a conditional AU$2.1 million tranche subject to shareholder approval. Funds will be directed toward advancing the Minbrie Copper Project in South Australia, including upcoming air core and follow-up diamond drilling programs scheduled to begin in June 2026.
The placement was completed at AU$0.012 per share and includes free attaching options exercisable at A$0.015 until June 2027. Lincoln stated that the funding places the company in a strong position to progress exploration activities across its prospective copper and base metals targets. Management highlighted the Minbrie project’s exploration potential following the review of historic drilling data, which identified previously overlooked copper mineralisation along a 17-kilometre strike zone on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. Planned drilling programs are designed to define additional high-priority copper targets, particularly around the Eagle Ridge prospect.
