McLaren Titanium Project PFS Confirms Strong Economics and Long-Life Development Potential
McLaren Minerals Limited (ASX: MML) released a price-sensitive update announcing the completion of the Pre-Feasibility Study for its 100% owned McLaren Titanium Project in Western Australia. The study confirms the project as a long-life, globally competitive titanium operation with an initial mine life of 15.9 years and a forecast payback period of 3.7 years.
The Pre-Feasibility Study outlines total life-of-mine revenue of AU$2.78 billion and EBITDA of AU$899.7 million under conservative pricing assumptions. The Mineral Resource Estimate was expanded to 529 million tonnes at 4.5% heavy minerals, including a substantial Indicated component. A conceptual pit design supports a robust production profile while leaving more than 60% of the total resource unmined, providing future upside.
The project benefits from low technical risk, supported by conventional mineral sands processing, bulk dry mining, and validated tailings management methods. The announcement is price-sensitive due to its material impact on project valuation, development confidence, and future feasibility.
