Megaport Secures AU$35.4 million AI-Driven Compute Contract
Megaport Limited (ASX: MP1) has secured a three-year compute and storage contract valued at approximately AU$35.4 million through its subsidiary, Latitude.sh, strengthening its position in AI-driven infrastructure. The agreement with a US-based developer tooling company is expected to commence in the first half of FY27 and will contribute around AU$11.8 million in annualised recurring revenue.
To support the contract, Megaport plans to invest about AU$17.2 million in server infrastructure, with an estimated payback period of 24 months. The deal increases the proportion of contracted revenue within its compute segment, enhancing earnings visibility. The required hardware is scheduled for delivery in FY26, followed by phased deployment aligned with customer demand.
The contract highlights rising demand for AI-related compute and storage solutions, positioning Megaport to capitalise on accelerating infrastructure needs while maintaining its existing FY26 financial guidance.
