Mithril Expands High-Grade Gold–Silver Footprint at Copalquin, Mexico.
Mithril Silver and Gold Limited (ASX: MTH) announced encouraging drilling results from its district-scale Copalquin Project in Durango State, Mexico, reinforcing the growth potential of Target 1 ahead of a mineral resource update. Recent drilling delivered multiple shallow and deeper high-grade gold-silver intercepts, confirming both grade continuity and structural scale within the system. Importantly, drilling on the western side of Target 1 extended the east–west mineralised structure by approximately 300 metres and intersected a broad silver-rich alteration zone, interpreted as evidence of a major hydrothermal feeder system. Additional drilling also confirmed a 300-metre down-dip extension of the Refugio 1 structure, highlighting vertical continuity and further upside potential. Looking ahead, Mithril plans an aggressive 2026 exploration program, including up to 25,000 metres of drilling across Copalquin, supported by district-wide geophysics and new targets such as La Dura. These results strengthen the company’s district-scale exploration thesis and support ongoing resource growth.
