New Hope Corporation Limited– Extension of On-Market Share Buy-Back
New Hope Corporation Limited (ASX: NHC) has extended its existing on-market share buy-back program to 2 March 2027, unless terminated earlier at the company’s discretion. Initially announced on 18 March 2025, the buy-back has been executed in the ordinary course of trading and forms part of the company’s broader capital management framework aimed at enhancing shareholder value through disciplined management of its capital base.
The continuation of the program remains subject to prevailing market conditions, share price performance, future capital requirements, and other relevant considerations, with no certainty that all contemplated shares will be repurchased. The repurchase program will be conducted within the statutory “10/12” capacity allowed under the Corporations Act, eliminating the need for shareholder approval. Any shares bought back through this initiative will be cancelled immediately in line with applicable regulatory obligations.
