Nico Resources Completes Oversubscribed Share Placement to Fund Wingellina Project
Nico Resources Limited (ASX: NC1) has successfully completed a heavily oversubscribed share placement, securing firm commitments of approximately AU$3.73 million before costs from professional and institutional investors. The capital raising involved the issue of 12.4 million fully paid ordinary shares at AU$0.30 per share under a single tranche, utilising the Company’s existing placement capacity in line with ASX Listing Rule 7.1A.
The issue price represented a 9.1% discount to the closing share price of AU$0.33 on 15 January 2026, while reflecting a 7.5% premium to the five-day VWAP of AU$0.279. Proceeds from the placement will be directed towards advancing exploration and development activities at the Wingellina Project, including the commencement of an infill drilling program, as well as general working capital requirements. Settlement is anticipated to occur around 27 January 2026, with the newly issued shares carrying the same rights as the existing ordinary shares.
