Northern Minerals EGM Withdrawn; Court Extends AGM Deadline to 30 June 2026

Northern Minerals Limited (ASX: NTU) has confirmed that the previously requisitioned Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will no longer proceed following the withdrawal of the section 249D notice by Vastness Investment Group Limited.

The Company had initiated proceedings in the Supreme Court of New South Wales seeking, among other relief, an extension of the deadline to hold its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and approval to convene the EGM concurrently with the AGM. The application was made to allow additional time for the Foreign Investment Division of the Department of the Treasury to consider outstanding matters.

With the requisition now withdrawn, the EGM is no longer required. The Court has granted orders permitting Northern Minerals to hold its AGM on or before 30 June 2026, providing additional flexibility to finalise regulatory considerations.
