OD6 Metals Limited (ASX: OD6) has significantly expanded the exploration potential of its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, USA, after recent soil geochemistry identified several new high-priority drill targets. The survey returned exceptional fluorine-in-soil values of up to 31,800ppm, highlighting the possibility of nearby high-grade mineralisation. The results outline a mineralised corridor extending over 8 kilometres, with a highly prospective 1.5-kilometre core target area linking the Horseshoe and Spar trends. Newly recognised target zones at North Horseshoe Canyon, North Horseshoe, Big Jim–Spar Ridge, and Dress Circle further strengthen the project's exploration upside.
The company collected 320 soil samples, confirming strong geochemical signatures beyond previously known deposits and supporting the presence of concealed fluorspar mineralisation. Management believes the findings demonstrate that the Quinn Project hosts a much larger mineralised system than previously recognised. Planned next steps include completing geological modelling, finalising drill targeting, progressing permitting, commencing metallurgical studies, and preparing a maiden drilling campaign. As the United States remains fully dependent on imported fluorspar, Quinn's strategic location and growing resource potential position the project favourably to support future domestic critical mineral supply.
