Toubani Appoints Corica as Mining Contractor for Kobada Gold Project
Toubani Resources Limited (ASX: TRE) has appointed Corica Mining Services S.A. as the mining contractor for its Kobada Gold Project in southern Mali, marking another important milestone as the project advances toward production. Corica was selected following a comprehensive tender process and has secured an initial five-year mining services contract, with long-form agreements currently being finalised. Equipment procurement has already commenced, with mobilisation of the mining fleet scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026 and first ore expected to be delivered to the run-of-mine pad in the second quarter of 2027. Corica brings more than two decades of mining experience across West Africa, operating a fleet of approximately 1,250 units and employing over 3,500 personnel across seven countries. Management believes the appointment of an experienced regional contractor strengthens execution confidence for the Kobada development while supporting the project's timeline towards commissioning and future gold production.
